Locals Win Big At National Competition |

Tyler Terrell of Denton won his 4th National title at the USAG Tumbling and Trampoline National Championships held in Kansas City, MO July 1-6. Terrell won gold in double mini, men’s level 10 and silver in tumbling, men’s level 10. Hannah Miller of Pilot Point also brought home the gold in double mini, level 7, making it her first National title.
Josh Wardle of Pilot Point won gold in trampoline, level 6 and placed 3rd in tumbling. This was Wardle’s first National Championship and his coaches were impressed with how well he did. It was also Tyler Dunning of Celina first National Championship and he placed 5th in level 5 double mini. Also competing at the National competition was: Brooklin Housden, Sarah Webster, Rachael Hollis, Aubrey Lawlis, Maigon Green, Morgan Griffin, Hallie Sewell and CalLee Hodnett. The athletes were coached by Tiffani Brumbaugh and Melanie Johns. “All of the athletes did an amazing job and we couldn’t be more pleased with their performances” said Johns. The team competes through USA Gymnastics.
