Just off HWY 377 in Aubrey sits Hopper Ranch, where you'll find horse boarding, riding lessons, and every Tuesday night some real down home backyard barrel racing that's free and open to the public. They've got a little bit of everything including a snack bar where you'll find some great hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as, free snacks and drinks for the kids.
 It's fun and entertaining for the entire family, and it shows from all the kids running around having a great time.
"We've been out here for about 3 years now. And there is usually about 150 people here on Tuesday nights which includes a lot of very dirty kids." Say's Merry Hopper, owner of Hopper Ranch. They have always enjoyed the large number of families that come out to watch the fun and enjoy the evening.
"It's good wholesome family entertainment" says Merry. "If the kids aren't dirty, they haven't had enough fun yet!"
Hopper Ranch is located just a few miles north of Hwy 380 off Hwy 377 in Aubrey just to the right of "Betty's Cafe". They offer a wide variety of services including training, and host several "Kids Day Out" programs where their motto is "The dirtier your child is when you pick them up, the more fun this group had!". Kids Day Out is where families can come and children can learn about horses, ride, paint pony's and more.
